BREEDING SHEEP DIVISION
SATURDAY, JULY 17 9:00 AM

  1. For information on livestock exposition regulations contact Missouri Department of Agriculture Animal Health Division 573-751-3377.
  2. Refer to Breeding Show Rules in the Lincoln County Fair Book.
  3. Sheep must be owned by an individual or farm by July 1, 2021.  Exhibitors must have proof of ownership prior to the July 1 date, registration papers or dated bill of sale.
  4. All entries for livestock exhibition MUST BE REGISTERED ONLINE AT https://lincmobl.fairmanager.com between May 31 and June 25, 2021.  Registration closes at 12:00 PM (noon) on June 25, 2021.  Entry fee will be paid through PayPal by credit or debit card.”     
  5. Entries for sheep are as follows:  Exhibitors can enter 11 entries per breed, 22 entries maximum. 
  6. There is a $2.00 fee per head per exhibitor.
  7. All livestock exhibitors and family members attending must purchase a daily admission ticket or season pass according to the fee schedule on the Livestock Entry Form.  Daily passes may be purchased at the Gate of Entry.
  8. All livestock vehicles must enter through livestock gate in the northwest corner of the fairgrounds.  NO trucks or trailers will be permitted to park behind barns except while loading and unloading.  After unloading livestock trailers may park in the restricted parking area west of the horse show arena.  Any vehicle found in restricted areas without the proper stickers are subject to towing at owner’s expense.
  9. Age basis: September 1 is to be used as a base date for computing ages of sheep in all classes.  Only those animals that have lamb teeth will be eligible to show in lamb classes and only those animals with yearling teeth will be permitted to show in yearling classes.  Sheep and lambs may be mouthed if there is a question on age.  The age of all yearlings will be September 1, 2019 to December 31, 2020, spring lambs January 1, 2020 to present.
  10. DEFINITIONS: BEST PAIR-1 ram and 1 ewe, any age.  Animals in “Best Pair” classes must have been exhibited in one of the classes in respective age division.
  11. Awards will be; Champion & Reserve Champion Ram-each breed; Champion & Reserve Champion Ewe-each breed; Supreme Champion Ram, Supreme Champion Ewe in Junior Classes only.
  12. Premiums:  Blue $10; Red $8; White $6
  13. Awards will be Champion & Reserve Champion Ram-each breed; Champion & Reserve Champion Ewe each breed.
